[MPlayer-users] encoding with snow video codec -> no video

Thanks for your answer.

Playing with -nosound doesn't make any differnce for playing the video stream, 
it's the same error message about the missing codec for my -vo-driver and 
video format 0x574F4E53.

edit: I just deleted my ~/.mplayer/codecs.conf so that the default is used. 
It's working now. I wonder why I had a local (and probably outdated!) copy of 
that file in my home.
