actually you can watch the video on X too while running the fbdev.
there are a lot of gfx memory overlapping between the fb and X, but I think
this is a radeonfb/vesafb issue, not mplayer's fault. I solved it by
removing fbdev support ;-) but then you can only use libcaca...
