[MPlayer-users] BUG: not possible to extract correct raw avc streams from .mov

hi all

i can play avc-in-mov as produced by quicktime 7, but i cant extract a
correct raw avc stream with mplayer from the same .mov files (eg the ones
apple offers on its HD site):
eg with the following commandline:
mplayer -dumpvideo -dumpfile raw.264 nasa_shuttle-r_m720p.mov

any idea why? are the nals missing after extraction or?
