[MPlayer-users] Codec failure?

Anyone got any idea what this means? I am trying to encode a 3.3gb vstream
into an MPEG file and about 17% of the way, every single time I try it, I
get this. The options I am using for mencoder are simple, -oac lavc -ovc
lavc and the output file and input files. I also noticed that there may be a
memory leak, mem used starts at a little over 10 mb and when this happens
its over 13 mb. This is with the Windows Cygwin version.

Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed?
For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option.
