Well sorry, but that's the way it goes. Buying hardware requires
research and a willingness to return defective items and complain
about their incompatibility. Proprietary manufacturers make things
hard for free software users, and you have to fight back, not take
their shit..

Yes it's in the FAQ and/or main DOCS (I forget which) for how to add a
new binary codec to codecs.conf. But like I said before it will only
work if the codec is a proper vfw or dshow codec module.

The only part that's a waste of our time is your not listening to what
I already said and not RTFM'ing. :)

I don't mind helping, even though personally I don't encourage the use
of proprietary binary codecs, but I would like you to make some
efforts on yourself to use the information you're given.
