[MPlayer-users] mencoder -tv driver adevice option works with /dev/dspX but not with ALSA devices, bug ?

$ mencoder -oac copy tv://R8 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg2video -tv 
driver=v4l2:width=640:height=480:device=/dev/video0:fps=25:norm=PAL::forceaudio:amode=2:
adevice=/dev/dsp0 -o tv.avi

Records video and audio properly, 
but refuses to record audio if
adevice=hw#0.0

Is this bug or I am doing sth wrong ?
