This bug affects the encoding of videos provided as mpeg streams to an
-ovc other than copy. The following command line fails without
indications of an error with the latest CVS. Encoding of the same type
of files worked flawlessly with the Version of last week.:

./mencoder -v -v bug20050323.01.mpg -o bug.out.avi -nosound -ovc lavc

The full output of the command is in the attached log dump. I uploaded
a small sample file, the log and a text description similar to this
mail to the ftp server as
bug20050323.01.mpg
bug20050323.01.log.gz
bug20050323.01.txt

I am not sure if this is a user error, but doubt it, since the command
I used to reproduce it is small.
