[MPlayer-users] can someone confirm this problem with vnc and mplayer

In the archives i see that some people are able to use mplayer on a vnc
display - others are not (BGR not supported error)

If i use vncserver 3.3.7 i can use mplayer
if i use vnc4server (4.0) mplayer will not run

can someone confirm this on their system before i file a bug?
