	If you do a 'cvs update' you can use the default gcc4 compiler.  

	Late Sunday (or early Monday) I did a successful build on 10.4 using 
	gcc4 without any manual tweeking or patching. Haven't done extensive 
	testing but it's worked fine on the few files I have played.
