[MPlayer-users] How do I play this file?

I have the mplayer plugin installed, so I expected something when I clicked on the link on the NASA web page.  The plugin started, and it began buffering.  I have a dialup connection, so I don't know if I just ddin't wait long enough.  I saw the display change to something like 30 percent buffered.  Would it have eventually played?

I then saved the link to disk and attempted to play it via mplayer.   Using mplayer with no options just returned an end of file.  When I added -playlist, this is what I received:

Here is what the file looks like:

Can either mplayer or mplayer plugin play this?  If so, how?  I even tried using Windows 2000 and that also failed.
