Are you sure? When I removed the DOCS line from my own CVS/Entries file
and tested, it made no difference whether I specified '-dPA' or no
options at all; I still got the dozens of "in the way" messages.
Re-adding the line removed that problem.

I guess, now that I think about it again, that if you were to delete (or
otherwise move out of the way) all of the directories whose entries had
been removed then the situation might be different... but I'm not about
to test *that* one on my own machine without a separate CVS tree, and
I'm almost critically short on disk space these days.
