The questions you're asking don't make any sense and would not even be
questions if it weren't for the fact that you don't understand
anything of what's involved in the process of video encoding. I can
assure you that the way 2pass encoding is done is the most efficient
possible (in terms of overall dataflow and what data is processed) and
that there is nothing created that is not actually needed.
