This is because you 'file' utility does not have information about the particular format you are using.  Look at /usr/share/misc/file/magic to see the listing file gets its info from.  You can either add an entry in /etc/magic or probably submit it to them somehow.

man file and magic for more.

This is not a problem, it is most likely that your video is fine and that particular format has not been added to the magic database.
