[MPlayer-users] dv2 files larger than raw dv ones.

Hallo
I have noticed that dv2 files are slightly larger than raw dv files. I wonder what makes the difference: is it some control information needed by dv2 format, or movie data itself is touched somehow.

I was also wondering what format to use to archive my source movie files: raw or dv2, I mean what are the weak points of those two formats (from the perspective of future )
