[MPlayer-users] Problem with accents in subtitles

Dear All

When I play a movie with subtitles in a srt file, the accented
characters (not all) are not shown properly. What can I do to solve
the problem? I am using

font="Comic Sans MS"
ffactor=0.8
fontconfig=on
subfont-blur=2
subfont-osd-scale=3
subfont-outline=2
subfont-text-scale=4

The encoding of the srt file is iso-8859-1.
