[MPlayer-users] multiple mplayers on multiple outputs

Hello,

I'd like to know if it's possible to have multiple mplayer's running
under linux over multiple VGA cards (I know it is, actually, right ?).

I have a PC with one onboard VGA/AGP output (ATI) connected to a screen
with mplayer playing a playlist (lot's of 'play', huh ?). And I'd like
to have an extra VGA/PCI(?) card and have an other mplayer instance
playing a different playlist on a different screen. Like having two
separate TV channels.

I'm in text mode and I'm launching mplayer using xinit. It reads the
mplayer command line from ~/.xinitrc:

   /usr/bin/mplayer -vo xv -playlist playlist01.txt

so I would like to display on another VGA card (to another screen):

   /usr/bin/mplayer -vo xv -playlist playlist02.txt

This might not be the right list to ask to and clearly seems to be an X
display issue. But I don't know much about X yet and maybe someone has
experience the same application and would rlike to share experience o
someone would help me getting on tracks.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
