Dear Reimar,

The change you made on configure script from revision 1.1182 to 1.1183
broke $_mcpu component in the CFLAGS on ppc. The reason is that CFLAGS
now includes $_march and $_mcpu before configure checks for altivec. As
a result, essential flags needed for altivec are absent in OPTFLAGS,
and libavcodec apparently burps when compiling imgresample.c (line 282)
because of that.

This affects ppc platform as far as I'm concerned, but I can imagine
other processor detection that modify $_mcpu after CFLAGS check is
affected too.
