Can you point me to info on WMV3 and its relation to mplayer?

Yes. But when I've done it, I won't be able to build 64-bit binaries.
I suppose I could set up a script to take out all the 64-bit *-devel
packages and put in all the 32-bit ones, and another script to do the
reverse. What a bother! Or am I missing something obvious?

I think the decision to put the *-config files in /usr/bin was one of
the worst decisions in setting up the x86-64 filesystem. I would have
put the 32-bit and 64-bit *-config files in different directories,
say /usr/lib and /usr/lib64, or /usr/bin, and /usr/bin64, or whatever.
Sorry for clogging up the mplayer list with irrelevancies.

Thanks for answering this question. It went right by me.
