Thanks but I suppressed the loopback cable a long time ago because sound
quality problems. Sound and video are split beforehand. But I'll check
the soundcard. Thanks.

Stupid question how can mencoder get no audio when mplayer -tv
driver=v4l2:width=720:height=576 tv:// gives an image and sound.

Now I see the problem. I forgot to set the line entry on the sound mixer
on "capture" but then I have "unable to open /dev/dsp permission
denied". Another problem thus. OSS emulation? Thanks again.
