It's good that it solved the problem.

I am not happy with how much CPU it is using. 95% CPU on an 850Mhz machine is 
too much. There is a gross inefficiency in the zoran driver, and I will work 
trying to fix it. (meaning to using still image mode for output).

I also want menus. I am not sure how it can be implemented within the mplayer 
framework, considering the output should go to the zoran. Call it 
experimental since it might require some serious surgery into mplayer.
