  Hi,

  This looks like a problem in a .mailcap file or possibly a config file
  for the plugin. I'm not familiar with either Firefox or MPlayer's
  plugin, hopefully somebody with more knowledge can steer you in the
  right direction.

  Will MPlayer play Windows Media while running it stand-alone? That
  should give you some idea. I also don't see an entry for Real Media
  files, and the FFmpeg package handles a number of Real and Windows
  media files, even if no other codec packages are installed. Hope this
  helps.
