Yes, mplayer always outputs "no sound" when playing from a tv:// source.

All mplayer does is enable the TV card, so if you're not getting sound,
it's a mixer problem.  Make sure you have both Line-in and Capture
devices marked as "Captur" and turned-up to a reasonable volume.
