I don't think so. The best way to check it is by eye. I'd tell you to
read the documentation, if it was online any more. Basically, you
just have to play the video back and do a frame-by-frame advancement
viewing. Pause, hit the [.] (period) button to advance by a couple
frames.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. If it deinterlaces a progressive source,
the results will look... odd.
