[MPlayer-users] Configure issue with gcc4 on suse10

This is my second try to get this mail on the list, so please excuse
if anyone receives duplicates.

Hi list,

at first many thanks @ the developers for mplayer. I like this nice tool!
I'm not a experienced user of mplayer. I just want to compile mplayer
after upgrade to suse10 as usual but the configure script failed by
not finding gcc in its favorite version. I took a look at the
configure options but can't see how to fake the version of gcc or
maybe I didn't find it. Is there any way to convince the script to use
gcc4.*
