Right-click doesn't give me any configuration options, just copy url,
fullscreen, and a few others: very minimal. So I edited .mplayer/config
to include vo=xv and vo=x11. The vo=xv didn't even finish loading the
clip (which I bet means the video device could not be initialized).
vo=x11 didn't work either, but removing the vo line won't play videos
at all now so I don't know if something got hozed when I tried vo=xv...
Plus whenever I try to play a video to test some change I have made to
the mplayer/config file Firefox hangs.
I wil try x11 after rebooting gdm.
I would do GL except I am using a low latency modified kernel and the
ati-fglrx kernel module won't build with all the spinlock changes in my
kernel, and I don't know how to fix the ati code. It's looking for some
spinlock "#declare"'s to be defined... So no GL acceleration for me.
I'll keep hacking away. Thanks for the help!
