Hi there,
I am attempting to build mplayer from source but I am unable to compile
successfully. I am running Redhat 7.1 and I downloaded/extracted the
MPlayer-1.0pre7try2.tar.bz.
Firstly I ran 'configure' which completed successfully with no errors.
However, when I then run 'make' the output ends with the following errors:
gcc -I../libvo -I../../libvo -I/usr/X11R6/include -fno-PIC -O4 -march=i686
-mcpu=i686 -pipe -ffast-math -fomit-frame-pointer -D_REENTRANT
-D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -DHAVE_AV_CONFIG_H -I..
-D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_LARGEFE_SOURCE -D_GNU_SOURCE -c -o
i386/vp3dsp_sse2.o i386/vp3dsp_sse2.c

Does anybody know what this means and how I can solve this problem ?
Many Thanks,
Graeme.
