Well, I hate to sound rather coarse, but there you go. MPlayer does  
not have WAVpack support. The question is, now: WILL the MPlayer devs/ 
FFmpeg devs choose to support WAVpack?

My guess is that, since it's not a very heavily used codec, and it's  
not too commonly found on the internet, development won't see the  
kind of encouragement that we've seen blossom with AAC, AC3, WMA,  
Vorbis, and other like codecs.
