[MPlayer-users] mplayer and firewall/NAT

Hello everybody:

I am still having problems getting realvideo streams to run. However, I
tracked the problem down to my firewall/NAT. Somehow, my Linksys RV042
router seems to have a problem. I used the very same mplayer on a node
directly connected to the net and it played without problems.

Question(s): Are there any known solutions to firewall/NAT issues with
mplayer? How might I be able to get my streams through this (obviously
broken)  router/firewall? realplayer switches to RTSP over HTTP, a neat
trick mplayer can't do. HTTP_PROXY doesn't work, tried that one allready.
