Just updated latest cvs and configured with
 ./configure --enable-debug=3 --enable-gui
--with-codecsdir=/mpcodecs 

problems started appearing:

My system is Fedora core 5test1, cvs complie worked
last week mplayer was fine but gmplayer segfaulted
