[MPlayer-users] Playing H264 RTSP streams (from apple)

Hello,

I'm having problems playing these H264 streams from apple:
rtsp://a2047.v1413b.c1413.g.vq.akamaistream.net/5/2047/1413/2_h264_110/1a1a1ae656c632970267e04ebd3196c428970e7ce857b81c4aab1677e445aedc3fae1b4a7bafe013/oct_event_2_h264_110.mov
rtsp://a2047.v1411b.c1411.g.vq.akamaistream.net/5/2047/1411/1_h264_650/1a1a1ae454c430950065de4cbb2f94c226950c7ae655b61a48a91475e243acda3dac194879adde0f/mw_2006_1_650.mov

MPlayer does not even detect it's H264. I tried adding the appropiate code to
demux_rtp_codec.cpp (setting H264 fourcc for video/H264 MIME type), but then
the ffh264 could not decode it saying Error decoding frame.

I also tried downloading the raw streams (A/V separately) using openRTSP
binary from live555. Then played it using mplayer -demuxer lavf stream.h264,
but that gave the same results. Letting openRTSP save it directly into an AVI,
MOV or MP4 container didn't help.

I found another similar thread on this list from July. The mplayer output
showed there detected H264 fourcc, but he could not play that anyway. Also
there was no advice nor a solution. The guy didn't provide a public
link/sample though.

I'm trying with dev-CVS-060107-09:56-3.3.3 and live555 libs from 7.1.2006.
