This is very likely the problem. There have, if I'm not mistaken, been
a nymber of improvements in the MOV demuxer (although it's still far
short of perfection) since 1.0pre7try2; it is very likely that the CVS
version will be able to play/encode your file just fine.
(If it doesn't, then at least you'll be in proper position to send in a
bug report about it.)
