[MPlayer-users] mplayer freezes computer on fedora core 4

I accually think i figured it out. I had a sound event ( a small
noise) when I opened a new terminal window. And for some reson my
computer did not like playing a mp3 at the same time as this beep. I
turned it off and the computer has been stable all afternoon....
