Hi,

According to 
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.video.mplayer.user/16590/ it is 
possible to use SIP with MPlayer.

With Ubuntu Drapper, I APTed mplayer, liblivemedia-dev and 
livemedia-utils and then:

$ mplayer sip:10001 at fwd.pulver.com
mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libfaac.so.0: cannot 
open shared object file: No such file or directory

$ sudo mplayer sip:10001 at fwd.pulver.com
Password:
mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libfaac.so.0: 
cannot read file data: Invalid argument

Is MPlayer still SIP capable ?
