using "mplayer -input file=fifo" cmdline "echo volume 10 >> fifo" does not work. I can see command volume is listed in the cmdlist in -input. other commands in this list work fine. however command volume does not work. My sound card is AC97. Does anyone know this issue ? Thanks.
