It looks the same as yours.  But I'm actually impressed that file(1)
shows as as much as it does about those files.

Use the a52 decoder in mplayer:

        [tack at viper Leon]$ mplayer Leon.avi -ac a52 -frames 0 2>&1 | grep AC3:
        AC3: 5.1 (3f+2r+lfe)  48000 Hz  448.0 kbit/s
