I have compiled MPlayer-1.0pre7try2 with flags:

CXXFLAGS='-O2 -mtune=ultrasparc -I/usr/include'
LDFLAGS='-s -mtune=ultrasparc -R/usr/X11/lib:/usr/swf/lib:/usr/lib:/usr/local/lib \
-L/usr/X11/lib -L/usr/sfw/lib -L/usr/lib -L/usr/local/lib'

t1 is a multi-core processor (16 threads) and I hoped to archieve good results, 
but, I suppose a mencoder can't divide threads, so the speed of encoding appeared to be 3-5 times slower than when using celeron 2.0 GHz, and processor was used for less than 5% while handling this operation.
