[MPlayer-users] Why won't MPlayer play my DVDs?

That would be too much info...  What you've provided however, isn't
really enough.  Verbose output means "mplayer -v"

Do you see any picture?  Is audio the only problem?  Is this the only
DVD that doesn't work?  Do normal videos (ie. not DVDs) work properly? 
Are you sure dvd://8 is the main title?

This problem of yours gets apparently more complex with each email.
