[MPlayer-users] Playing multiple video in fullscreen mode

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to play few videos with mplayer in full screen mode from command
line. The command I am using is:

mplayer -really-quiet -fs -loop 0 -zoom -playlist playlist >/dev/null 2>&1

playlist file contains:
video1.avi
video2.mpeg
video3.mpeg

Problem is:

Whenever mplayer finishes playing one video, it goes back to the command
prompt and waits until the next video is loaded.

Is there any way to get rid of this?

Also, have anyone had any experience of playing continuous fullscreen videos
from a playlist with mplayer right at the startup of the computer. What I am
actually trying to achieve is to come up with a solution with mplayer that
mimics the same function as those advertising monitor/screen that only shows
videos or advertisements.

Would appreciate if anyone could give any lead.

BTW, I am using linux for the mplayer pc.

Thanks & Regards,

Vesuvious.
