Thanks.  I did try that, but it has the same "off by a [fraction 
of a] line" problem that tinterlace,scale has.  The various shift
options on tinterlace didn't seem to repair it.  BTW, I used all 
the interlace options I usually do (ilme, ildct, etc.).
