OK, but remember that this error is in the March 11 CVS. The most recent CVS 
(March 22) does not have this problem anymore. Instead there is:

Does this mean that you don't know whether the March 22 CVS is better than 
the Jan 24 CVS? I mean, is it possible that mencoder is simply printing 
warnings that it should have printed before? I do not know if there is 
anything wrong with the Real Media files, but they play OK in MPlayer.
