[MPlayer-users] wmv playback problem

Hi,
 
 I have mplayer.1.0pre7try3-5.x86_64.rpm installed on SuSE 10.0 on x86_64 architecture.  
 
 My problem is that mplayer will play back mpg, avi, and asf files but will not produce video for wmv files.  However there is audio.  the error is:
     Cannot find codec matching selected -vo and video format 0x33564D57
 
 I have ffmpeg.0.4.9-5.pm.cvs.20060409.rpm installed and I also have win32codec-all.20050412-0.pm.0.i586.rpm installed.
 
 I have downloaded the all-20050412.tar.bz2 codec package from your website and I have copied the contents to /usr/local/lib/codecs:/usr/lib/codecs.
 
 I am not sure but maybe this is a problem with the dll being for a 32-bit system and mplayer was built for a 64-bit system?
