Well, I solved the problem by just moving unsharp to the end of the
list. But I'm still confused what caused the problem...

"D:\MEncoder\MPlayer.exe" -sws 9 -vf
kerndeint=10:1:0:0:0,scale=640:480,unsharp=l3x3:0.5c3x3:0.5 -priority
abovenormal -identify -ontop -geometry 50%:50% -monitoraspect 1.333333
"E:\VIDEO_TS\_Composite_20060315_201449.mpg"

Any ideas on what caused the problem before, but not now?

Hi.

I just notice a problem with Sharpen & Deinterlace !!!
It seems that the sharpen filter breaks adaptive deinterlacing

As soons as I enable the "unsharp" filter, the "kerndeint" filter will
always deinterlace the whole frame! Just like "threshold=0". How is that
possible? I don't understand, because I first do the deinterlacing and
*then* apply the sharpen filter. Any ideas?

Here is the command-line:
"D:\MEncoder\MPlayer.exe" -sws 9 -vf
kerndeint=10:1:0:0:0,unsharp=l3x3:0.5c3x3:0.5,scale -priority
abovenormal -identify -ontop -geometry 50%:50% -monitoraspect 1.333333
"E:\VIDEO_TS\_Composite_20060315_201449.mpg"

Is it correct that -vf works that way?
-vf <first filter>,<second filter>,...,<n-th filter>

Or did I understand it wrong and it's the other way arround? *confused*
