"-cache" has no effect. anyone else?

is there a way to measure the timing of each frame
and report on how far off any were? or just prints the
times out? it would help me to measure this quantitatively
rather than by staring and counting glitches.

maybe i will have to compile it. as i understand it the
head of cvs now supports gcc4 so i should be able to just
follow the cvs instructions on the mplayerhq web page right?

thanks, -spot
