Thanks for the test; I've fetched the RPM, unpacked it and it contains the
same DLL wmvadvd.dll which I have already:

$ md5 ./usr/lib/win32/wmvadvd.dll Mplayer/main/wmvadvd.dll
MD5 (./usr/lib/win32/wmvadvd.dll) = e52432dad531e5175a52e4e31d0d0311
MD5 (Mplayer/main/wmvadvd.dll) = e52432dad531e5175a52e4e31d0d0311

the source which does not understand the wmvadvd.dll is
main/loader/module.c
CVS: $Id: module.c,v 1.26 2005/08/10 22:48:31 ivo Exp

which in turn calls for the real work the function PE_FindExportedFunction()
which is in main/main/loader/pe_image.c
CVS: $Id: pe_image.c,v 1.11 2006/05/13 18:38:57 rathann Exp $

oh... this was changed on May 13....

but also using rev. 1.10 of pe_image.c does not help and the small
change (I did a CVS-diff) has nothing todo with this; so what?
What can I do? Poor boy I am :-((

Any ideas? Has it soemthing todo with how in FreeBSD the code of
the DLL is maped into RAM?
