Concerning this -3.3.6, five minutes after asking that stupid
question I've found out how during make the version string is build:
The -3.3.6 is just the output of 'gcc -dumpversion' and added
to the MPlayer's version string into a file main/version.h

I've build mine with a gcc 3.4.4, so it *could* be a gcc related
problem or even a OS version problem because there are not much
changes recently in the involved sources loader/module.c and
loader/pe_image.c as one can see with CVS log;
