I've tried to play with methods of dealing the interlaced media using as
many ways as I could think of. FYI, here is my objective summary:

Method name & cmdl, Overall visual quality on PC & TV

suggested way, -lavcopts ilme:ildct:mbd=2, 100%, 40-50%
linipoldeint deinterlacing, -vf pp=li, 60-70%, 60%
ffmpegdeint deinterlacing, -vf pp=fd, 80%, 70%
tfields+tinterlace interlaced, -lavcopts ilme:ildct:mbd=2 -vf tinterlace=0,tfields=2 -fps 50 -ofps 25, 100%, 70%
tfields+tinterlace progressive, -vf tinterlace=0,tfields=2 -fps 50 -ofps 25, 100%, 80%
