[MPlayer-users] Segmentation Fault, convert avi to mpeg2

Hello,
I'd like to convert an avi/xvid into mpeg2 with MPlayer 1.0rc1, Subversion 
from 2006-11-09 using the following 2pass encoding:

$ mencoder -oac copy -ovc lavc -of mpeg -mpegopts format=dvd -vf 
crop=704:288:0:6,scale=720:432,expand=720:576,harddup -lavcopts 
vcodec=mpeg2video:vrc_buf_size=1835:vrc_maxrate=9800:vbitrate=9800:keyint=15:aspect=16/9:vpass=1 
-ofps 25 -o /dev/null movie.avi

mencoder -oac copy -ovc lavc -of mpeg -mpegopts format=dvd -vf 
crop=704:288:0:6,scale=720:432,expand=720:576,harddup -lavcopts 
vcodec=mpeg2video:vrc_buf_size=1835:vrc_maxrate=9800:vbitrate=9800:keyint=15:trell:mbd=2:precmp=2:subcmp=3:cmp=3:dia=4:predia=4:preme=2:cbp:mv0:vqmin=2:lmin=2:dc=10:aspect=16/9:vpass=2 
-ofps 25 -o movie.mpg movie.avi

The 2nd pass starts but instantly ends with a Segmentation Fault. Although 
the combination of the encoding options is probably senseless, mencoder 
shouldn't terminate with a Segentation Fault, but rather return a helpful 
message.

BTW, the conversion runs well if I remove the options 
precmp=2:subcmp=3:cmp=3
My x86 system is running Kubuntu 6.10 (edgy), Kernel 2.6.17.
