[MPlayer-users] Newbie Question about Fullscreen Mode

I've just joined this list, so please forgive me if this question is answered 
elsewhere.

On the Windows platform, when you full-screen a media player, the movie area 
expands to fill the entire screen.  When MPlayer plays "full screen" the 
movie area is only centered in a black screen.

How can I play a movie in true "full screen" mode?
