[MPlayer-users] Quicktime .mov file with WMV and WMA codes

Now, that is interesting. If only I had Windows installed, the thing
would be easier :)

Can you please supply us with your mplayer root directory listing? Like:
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\mplayer> dir /s
or something like that.
If there's anything like file called "codecs.conf" in the folder -
delete it and try again. Also post your "config" file contents.
