When I say copy the info I mean run mplayer from the console ie.
mplayer -vo xv file.mpg and copy everything until mplayer closes. The
above only tells us how mplayer was compiled in relation to the cpu.

And what video card does your system use?

Again please post everything from the time you run the command until
mplayer closes.
